Beverly-Jean Daniel

The rudest person I have ever met. She picks favourites, is not willing to give people a chance, and is incredibly unreachable. Many people, including myself, did significantly worse in her class than other classes. This is a testament to her hostile teaching style and inability to act human with her students. She also does not respect deadlines.

Horrible prof. Super unprofessional. Doesn't care about her students, actively wants us to fail. She said to our class while laughing that she liked getting grade appeals cause then she can fail them. That should tell you she doesn't have our best interest at heart. I would avoid her as she clearly doesn't want to teach, but rather intimidate

Unavailable most of the time. Slides are mostly her speaking notes and will not be helpful for tests. - Take notes. Edits announcements - be sure to record what is announced. Tests have multiple repeated questions that are hard to understand. Not helpful or accomodating. Does not answer questions clearly and responds with condescending remarks,

Dr. Daniel assigned 2 papers & 2 exams, each worth 25%. The paper's were graded by her TA's where almost the whole class either failed or received between 50-60%. Her exams are difficult & reading heavy. She calls her students out in class & is always playing catch up with her lectures from previous weeks because her class discussions take up time

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Do not believe any comments regarding this prof as being a good professor she is FAR from it! She even took away participation marks to ensure no marks are given out to boost your grade! She wants her students to fail! Her tests are VERY HARD and there are multiple right answers! Unless you are in her head YOU WILL FAIL!!!!!!!!

Hands down one of the worst profs I have EVER had! Does not teach at all! I get it dont do the work dont pass, but I am a straight A+ student who works hard to keep my average high. I honestly am not sure why this professor is even allowed to still have her job! She cannot mark or teach for her life. Seems like her only goal is to fail her class!

This prof had been the WORST prof I had taken so far. First, the classes are supposed to be synchronous as indicated on the course outline. We only had TWO classes this semester but she assigns so many readings per week. She went completely MIA and does NOT answer emails at all. The final exam was a JOKE, there was more than one right answer.

Doesnt answer emails, gives tests with multiple right answers in the multiple choice questions and expects you to choose the most correct one, does not show any sympathy for students when they bring up that the test questions were confusing; overall terrible professor. Would recommend switching if you see that you have her because I wish I did.

Professor Daniel is one of the worst most not compassionate or empathetic professors Ive experienced in all my years as a student. Absolute no regard or care to her students wellbeing or circumstances. Nor any regard to the difficulties people have been facing during these confusing times. I would not recommend at all. If you see her name SWITCH!
