She doesn't always explain things super clearly and the notes can be kinda messy, so you'll need to teach yourself a lot. The question banks for midterm and final are really important though and help a lot. There are bonus marks on both exams if you're prepared. Try to do well on quizzes to make exams easier.
It was not a good idea to give her this course to teach after 5 years and also I blame the department for reducing the contents of the course since I have no idea what the course try to convey in reality. She is also bad at teaching for this course specially.
For midterm you might wanna do more than what she recommends, but she is a really kind professor and cares about her students
I don't know why she has a lot of bad reviews but she is actually a good professor lol. If you go to her lectures you will understand everything lol.
Prof is actually good if u wanna learn, she goes over lots of examples that are similar to the ones on the actual exam/midterm. If you master her examples ur good! Overall a decent prof
She is a bit grumpy but will makes SURE YOU UNDERSTAND/PREPARED FOR EXAMS. Took her in the summer and she gives time to try the questions yourself in class, she handed out previous year exams during class to practice, highlights exactly what is on the exam so you are prepared. Exams were fair and she prepared us well for it.
She records and posts lectures online and then complains about the course attendance being very low, and give that as a reason they won't bellcurve the midterm, although the average was below 40. According to her you are expected to spend 8 hours a week if on this course, and keep in mine you will have other courses going. Just avoid at all cost
Avoid her at all cost she is very grumpy
Worst prof I have ever had and extremely rude
