Yoontae Jeon

Hands down one of the best teachers at Ryerson. I have had two courses with him and had a great experience both times. He's very helpful and the exams are fair.

The goat among finance professors

Good prof. He explains concepts clearly. Midterms are fair, it really helps since he provides previous midterms and finals which allow you to practice on. Totally my fault for not studying for the final bc of other classes, so I ended up dropping a letter grade. But as long as you practice the midterms ur good. He goes a bit fast sometimes.

Prof. Jeon is the best professor for this course. He explains concepts very clearly and tries to make sure everyone understands the work. I highly suggest taking him for this course.

One of the best profs at Ryerson. Explains concepts and demonstrates Excel problems very well. He doesn't go too quick, always makes sure everybody's on the same page, and takes time to answer every question. He also allocated 25% of the course grade to online homework, which significantly boosted up my GPA.

Very fair professor. His lectures were good and he gave clear examples and solutions with detail. He is very approachable and friendly if you have any questions. Group project had clear instructions. Exams were tough, but just review and practice throughout the semester and they're pretty straight forward. Overall one of the best finance profs.

Dr. Jeon is a great finance prof. Clear examples and great lectures. Provides enough homework and practice to do well. A tough course that should only be taken if very interested.

I loved Prof. Jeon, he takes the time to answer your questions in class whenever I don't understand something. He is super caring to his students and he wants to see them succeed and do well in his class. I truly enjoyed Finance because of him, I definitely recommend him 100%.
