Very good professor. She knows what she's talking about and does a great job making the class engaging. If you know people in the class it becomes more chill and also helps with you with the participation components and the group projects. Course was also really easy and enjoyable.
I had the pleasure of being in Ms Peeskers HTM 302 class this fall in which she taught with enthusiasm and always engaged the class into a discussion. She brought in guest speakers with the aim of inspiring students and encouraged connecting. Finally her method of evaluating through engaging assignments like group work made the class enjoyable.
She is very kind and always wants her students to succeed.
Karen Peesker is the most amazing professor I have ever had at TMU. I took her class in 2nd year and got so inspired by her that I just chose every class that she taught. She definitely prepares a lot for each class. It may seem overwhelming, but if you attend the lectures and complete the in-class work, it is actually quite manageable.
Her lectures are engaging and energetic, and she always arrives enthusiastically at class. Skim through readings and do the activities; you won't have time to read everything. Projects expect you to do things you haven't learn so be ready to learn on your own. She feels more like a high school teacher pretending to be university-tier.
Professor Peesker is one of the most amazing professors in the HTM program. She comes to class full of energy that radiates to everyone. Karen always ensures that her students are cared for and her students clearly understand the material provided. If you have the opportunity to take her in a class, DO IT! You will not regret it
Karen is one of the most passionate professors I have had at the university. She loves the content that she teaches and that is apparent in her lectures. Make sure you attend the lectures and actively participate, this will improve your grade significantly!
She is a very enthusiastic professor, and we can feel it in her class. The worst part was that she prepared more than 100 pages of PowerPoint at a time, but she couldn't finish it. This class is really easy, but she makes it very difficult. There were a lot of group activities in each class more than the meals I had ever had.
A very inspired Professor who wants students to learn and succeed. Attendance is expected but lectures are lively and engaging.
