Avoid this professor if you can. It is difficult to understand her most of the time, and the midterm is convoluted. However, the class is relatively straightforward, and there are multiple items to pull marks from, so it is manageable from that standpoint. The guest speakers are also a bonus to get a break from her lectures.
joke of a class midterm was written by ai and had very confusing wording resulting in an extremely low class avg also very heavy accent and is poor at communicating and sticking to deadlines 30% of ur grade is showing up and doing in class activities u will also be subjected to very boring guest speaker presentations with some old guy as well idk y
Slides were recycled and outdated from ten years ago. Very disorganized, getting dates wrong and backtracking on previous statements and rules outlined to the class. The only saving grace of the course were the guest speakers from the real estate industry pertaining to sustainability.
Very disorganized professor and constantly confuses students. Her exam was not course related. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Honestly, she is a really nice lady who cares about her students. That being said her marking is all over the place so your grade ends up being a bit of wildcard. If you show up to class its free marks because 1/3 of your grade is in class activities and quizzes which are very easy. Not a great lecturer and mid term was irrelevant to course content
She can't Speak English concisely and her midterm was hardly course content related (probably written by ai) she marks her participation very weirdly and unfairly avoid if you can
I honestly don't understand why she's rated so low. REM 500 was one of my favourite classes, and I learned so much in a way that actually stuck. She really cares about her students and always helps when needed. She is a tough grader, but it honestly prepares you for real-life expectations.
Just reads off lectures slides like the average university prof. Exams are extremely hard, uses difficult wording in questions to throw you off. I suggest you bring a dictionary with you for your exams. Always show the alternative prof if possible
She is a very nice and kind lady. She was very happy while teaching at 8 am lol.
A little bit of a tough grader, but she genuinely cares about all of her students! She is very open to feedback and willing to adjust the course to best accommodate students. Participation matters a lot; she does in class quizzes and assignments, which are fairly easy. I would definitely take classes with her again!
