It's an advanced course so it won't be the easiest, but I can assure you she does what she can to effectively teach the material. If you're struggling, she'll make time to help you learn. It's clear that she wants her students to do well. If you can manage your time, you'll do well in her class. This is my second time with her and she's great!

Such a great and caring prof. She explains the material very clear and is always willing to help you understand further. Going to her lectures really makes a difference. She also will tell you exactly what to expect on your tests and finals (oral and written). I had her for 301 and 401 and would 100% take her course again!

Fantastic professor. She transformed a rather challenging course into a manageable one by laying out all dates from the beginning, meticulously explaining all instructions and fully preparing students for the assessments. The tests were straight out of the lectures and the homework. Great professor and learned a whole bunch.

She's definitely one of the most caring, respected, and helpful professors you can have. She's always happy to help and genuinely cares about the success of students. Assignment guidelines and test formats are clearly outlined and she is always very understanding so she doesn't mind explaining the same content. Overall, you will enjoy her class.

Very kind and sweet professor who was very helpful for students, thoroughly enjoyed the class. Rather basic and simple linguistics course which I took as an elective.

Awesome prof! Really cares about you and answers emails quickly. Participation in class matters. I really enjoyed and learned from her classes. Test went by a bit too quickly and I wish we had more time. Other than that, I recommend!

If you don't have a background in French, the way she explains concepts can be challenging however she is so helpful and id say pretty leaned back when it comes to making.

Good prof but a lot of course work. Most of which are just for participation.

While the course was not hard, she made it difficult by being a terrible prof. She talks really fast but doesn't actually explain the content or answer questions. I had to teach myself the entire course from the textbook. She is also NOT tech savvy at all, so if you have an online course with her, good luck. I also found her very uncaring.
