DO NOT TAKE THIS PROF!! She is a tough grader and is hard to get over a 80% for anything. Not only that, I have spoken with 10+ other students in my class and concluded that we all got very similar grades for the same exact assignments (ex, 75-76 for our midterms). If you want to do decent I'm sorry but there is no way of doing that with this prof.

If you don't need to take this course don't. I thought this would be an interesting and fun class, but I was wrong, this professor does not care about her students- she doesn't give good feedback and is so harsh for no reason. She's not helpful or welcoming.

This was an awful class. She doesn't give good feedback; only general points to the whole class. Yet, her grading is very harsh even for simple assignments like a discussion post. This class has nothing to do with Islam; it's about how women are "oppressed in Islamic countries" without any reference to how they should be treated Islamically.

She's really great! Just keep in mind that she's a bit of a tough grader, but is fairly easy.

She lowered my mark even though she had no valid reason to do so. Gave me a 2.5 out of 5 for participation, even though I was the most engaged student in our class. Avoid at all costs. SHe's a marxist and has an issue with anyone who disagrees with her.

Don't do it. She does not provide ANY basic feedback unless you ask, horrible availability, her grading criteria and expectations are extremely unclear, focuses more on administrative tasks rather than course content. She does not care about her students at all. I simply don't understand why she chose to be a professor.
