The actual worst. By the way, making your students pay over 70 dollars to attend an event organized by a group that you are affiliated with is a huge conflict of interest and corrupt af. Thank god employers don't know how terrible this guy is or it would devalue all the HTM degrees.
He loves to yap during lectures to HIS twitter posts, stuff in the news, things unrelated to class content/assignments but related to the industry. Grades were fair but I did all assignments without listening to a single thing in class. He's a pos to ppl who come in late and you have to go to htm convention which was a complete snoozer.
He asked me to leave class and talk individually during the break. He doesn't seem like a good professor, and his behavior is crossing my limits. I've been struggling with personal issues lately, and his rudeness upset me. As an international student living alone for studying here, this treatment makes me feel very sad. I just wanna keep on track.
One of the worst profs I've ever had. Only gets guests speakers to come speak in class but assigns assignments with nothing to do with the guest speakers. He rarely teaches actual content and when he does it's all based off Twitter posts. Assigns a lot of assignments with little to no instructions on the assignment. Overall horrible prof.
Brain-damaged prof, hard grading, assignment due 3 days after the previous one and those two are worth 35% of your final grade. You also need to pay to attend an event and write about it for another 15%. Lectures were basically Twitter and irrelevant companies. Can't imagine you call it Strategic Marketing Planning... Man needs a brain check ASAP
Avoid taking Dimanche at ALL costs. His lectures are boring; they don't have an impact on the course itself. It's a very unorganized space and he expects you to be present and attentive throughout. You must turn your cameras on and he will unmute you to make you speak. I asked for an extension on an assignment and he ignored my request.
Did not teach anything about marketing, except for Twitter. Mostly revolved around research papers and citing properly which can be learned in a research class. Papers graded harshly and in some cases unjustly. Wish it actually taught about marketing planning and strategies instead of research.
Have yet to learn anything about marketing in this class. just talked about random things like Twitter and the vague assignments that he gives us. Not interesting, not worth making this class a mandatory class.
I find this professor lacks intellectual feedback on assignments. It is usually about a minor APA mistake. He grades pretty fair but his TA is a tough grader. He does not put much logistical thought into his assignment details. Example - 20 academic references in a 4000-word assignment. Too many references to squeeze into the word count.
