Tries too hard to make it seem like we're doing real professional work and in turn does not answer any questions or provide any guidance. only to later mention that students didn't do the assignment in the way the they wanted. don't expect to get meaningful feedback and beware of scavenger hunts (regular worksheets, nothing fun about them)
The class system was a fever dream in the first place. The first half of the semester is lightwork, then suddenly you're hit with the midterm and a crapton of big projects with a weird grading schema (a C is fulfilling all requirements and a B is above and beyond..😬😬😬 which doesn't even align with provincial requirements)
Horrible marking, weird weight of assignments, boring lectures, expects a lot from you while providing very little herself
Samantha expects way too much work, if your taking any of her classes be prepared to put 10 hours a week worth of work (Not including her big course assignments).
Would never take this prof again if I had the option. The fact that I was crushing all my courses and then 600 came along and nuked my GPA? Insane. Weekly assignments worth 3% take HOURS, and her expectations are sky-high for no reason. Grading is brutal, and don't even get me started on the lectures—pure pain. Save your sanity. Take someone else.
Respectfully, Sam is the worst instructor I've had. I have no idea how she got qualified for this job. She expects students to follow TMU policies to a T but doesn't seem to hold herself to the same standard. The lack of professionalism is frustrating, and her assignment outlines are so vague they feel like a guessing game. Step up your game TMU!
Dr. Biglieri is inconsistent, she does a poor job of communicating with her fellow professors to ensure consistent grading criteria, announcements, and instructions. The class uses an independent study approach with little guidance and opportunity for feedback.
Gives expectations for assignments after they are due. Marks extremely strictly. Shoots down critical thinking on site planning that doesn't adhere to her narrow views. Contradicts herself on how she says will grade assignments in class and how she grades. Poor communication. Vague teaching with no effort while students give 1000% just to pass.
Unreal experience! 3% weekly group assignments that take ages to do, unclear and hypocritical grading, lectures that jump back and forth between content, and best of all - an excessively long final exam that more than half of the students did not get to finish. Plus, she is very passive aggressive. and I did not gain any knowledge from her lectures
