Genuinely one of my favourite professors I've ever had. Went out of her way to help with stuff and was always so caring and kind. Lectures are pretty chill and her triple journal entries every week never take more than 15 minutes to complete.
Griffith prioritizes personal political ideology over objective learning, often framing course content through a biased lens. Assignments were politically charged and felt inappropriate given the current climate, making for an uncomfortable and one-sided learning experience.
Jane was such a good proff. She teaches well and is so easy to talk to. Her grading system was so good cause even if u hand in everything and are at least above the threshold (B-), youll get an A+. Just hand everything in, do the revision memos and youll do well. She is easily accessible by email and she literally got us pizza on the last day GOAT
This professor frequently uses class time to push her personal agenda, weaving it into every reading, example, and discussion. The material itself is dull, and the grading system is another issue a more straightforward grading approach would make it easier to understand where you stand in the class.
Class wasn't enjoyable, due to how poorly it was structured&explained, esp since the online didn't require as much participation. Class was required to do a report, w/ 100+ ppl & students were not properly assigned tasks&no expectation provided to do well. Prof was nice but lots of participation requirements & were graded on a personal reflection?
She was super helpful when asking questions. She tried her best to make her lectures engaging and would change things up when the class seemed bored. She would up our grades if we resubmitted work after she gave feedback. Would normally increase your assignment grade by 10% if you made the right changes. Very nice Prof and interesting videos.
She is amazing! I'm not like an insanely good student but I still did very well in this class. She's an easy marker, she's very caring, replies to emails fast, and wants to see students do well! The readings aren't necessary, I literally did not do a single reading or watch a single lecture and I finished with an A+.
She's nice and engaging! The class was asynchronous, so we spoke through email (very accessible). Readings were pretty long (unnecessarily, in my opinion). Lectures were short and sweet but I don't think are necessary for the quizzes and discussion marks (if you do the readings). The assignments seem easy, but she marks pretty tough.
would not take again, do NOT recommend
Dr. Griffith is amazing. She is super knowledgeable and can be hilarious. Her lectures are engaging and she is wonderful at explaining course concepts. Very tough marker, but gives excellent feedback. Portfolio based course so you get two opportunities to submit, dont expect higher than an 80 though.
