I appreciate Professor Maxine's teaching style. However, they are not tech-savvy and are all over the place on D2L; it's very confusing. They have unrealistic expectations for assignments and are very judgmental. They are very oppressive towards students and take over two weeks to respond to emails. They do not use the university policies fairly.

She's horrible with technology and has a very close minded perspective when you want to bring in your own ideas. She's very judgmental. She should not be teaching! DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!! She gets upset that students do not want to participate in her breakout room discussion because of the format she uses!

I regret taking this course with this professor, she's the worst professor I ever had at TMU! She's disrespectful; takes over two weeks to respond to emails and apply the university policy when it's in her favour.

This was my worst class this semester and its supposed to be an elective, she's a nice prof but she's a really tough marker and the midterm is so specific you have memorize the readings in order to do decent. I wish someone warned me before taking the class, this course will definitely bring down your GPA

DO NOT TAKE!!!! honestly the worst prof i have ever had at ryerson. Tons and tons of readings. Midterms are ridiculously specific. Tough grader. Overly reliant on group work. She thinks her class is the only one you're taking. Save your gpa and skip her. Worst experience ever

Avoid avoid avoid!!!!!!!!!!! The hardest marker I have ever had and this is an elective. Please save your GPA. Discussion posts every week from the readings, reflection paper, midterm, essay, final. I had to work more on this course then my required courses!
