One of the best profs I've ever had
One of my favourite profs I've had at TMU. So down to earth and experienced, knows how to really connect with a classroom. This class was not dependent on powerpoints and was mostly class discussions. I always appreciated the feeling of community she is able to create between herself and all of us. Super funny too :)
One of the my favourite professors at TMU. You cannot go wrong having her, just show up and put in some work and you will do so great.
almost every assignment was done in groups or partners, lots of sharing in front of the class, crazy amounts of readings, given little time for quizzes. overall a sweet prof, the course was just not one someone who identifies as shy or reserved may enjoy.
Colleen's class was a memorable experience I had. Rather than a traditional lecture, Colleen was able to deliver the course content through having the class participate in really engaging conversations. She wants to see her students succeed and the assignments are a breeze if you show up to class.
Colleen was a great professor, she demonstrates her knowledge and passion for the field. She is very understanding and aims to support all her students. She was an easy marker as long as you put the effort in and demonstrated your knowledge of concepts. She provided great feedback (both positive and constructive).
Colleen was easily one of the best profs I've ever had. Her classes aren't done in the normal way; she doesn't use powerpoints and teaches in a way that makes the course content feel like a casual conversation. She's a great teacher to approach about anything and cares so much about her seeing her students succeed.
Does not respond to emails, difficult to communicate with as it is an online. Takes too long for feedback and marks
Colleen was unapproachable, had the students teach the class by learning the material on their own time then presenting it to the class. Extremely unapproachable, did not respond to emails and took 2.5 months to grade the few papers assigned.
She is an amazing prof. She is knowledgeable and easy to approach. She is clear with what she wants and provides good feedback.
