Michael Baumtrog

Professor Baumtrog is an amazing professor. He is very accommodating and reasonable. I recommend taking him. Do not hesitate to take his class. Attendance is mandatory.

Dr. B is a great prof & very reasonable. The midterm and final are easy if you do readings and attend lectures. There's a quiz in class every week so attendance is kind of mandatory. Each class was about 1 and a half to 2 hours long. The remaining time was used for an optional tutorial. There's readings to do before each lecture as well.

this guy is great, the material in bus221 is easy you don't really need to read anything and he does a great job of explaining things in class. he pretty much gives you everything you need to succeed, some easy weekly quiz marks, and he's comparatively funny lol

Course itself is pretty good. Prof tries to adapt to student preferences but nothing is too consistent. He def has passion for the topic n expects u to do the same which is difficult with a mandatory course. Midterm and final are heavy and are about 8:2 written to mc. U get a quiz after every lecture w the question posted up in class.

He is the best prof I had this semester. He does care about his students and truly wants to help them. He even stayed in the classroom after 3hr lecture to answer all of my questions. In-class quizzes and memos are quite easy marks. Do practice questions for exams. Attend his tutorial if possible. Very helpful. Definitely recommend him!

Great prof. He brings a really positive vibe, and he genuinely cares for students. The content of the course is fairly easy, the quizzes and memos are easy marks. His tutorials are 50/50 useful. Midterm was fairly easy, final was a little harder. Just know the stuff well. Some of the homework was useful. Take this prof, you won't regret it.

You can tell he wants his students to succeed, he openly cares for their academics and their mental health. His lectures are easy to follow and he adds humour to lighten the mood. As long as you do the short readings before class you can easily get a high grade.

One of the best Professors I've had so far. Very passionate and is always willing to help you out if you ask for assistance. His lectures are interesting and you can tell he really cares about his students. The final exam was hard, but he made the effort to prepare us.

his exams were harder than all other sections with different profs. he teaches a diff curriculum, and he had messy slides + the practice material he provided wasnt very helpful. i still managed to scrape by with a B grade but taking baumtrogs class made it way harder than it should have been.
