Although he was a tough grader, it was evident that he cared for his students and was willing to help them get the mark they wanted. I recommend him!
He was very organized with his notes as well as the course. Gives pretty good feedback on assignments, and marks them quickly as well. Only 'downside' to him was that he is kind of a tough grader. He does a good job delivering the content. Average prof, but better than most, it's obvious that he cares about his students.
He's a good guy, who cares about the material and wants to engage his students. You have to DO THE READINGS; lectures only cover basic concepts. His tests, which were 90% of the course for us, involve very specific facts taken from the chapters. Read the chapters carefully, that's where a ton of the material is from. Good guy, DO THE READINGS.
He is a caring prof who wants his students to do well. He will review the major soc concepts in lecture. However, there is room for improvement as an instructor: He does NOT post any lecture slides, course relies too heavily on textbook, second half of class is videos/ group engagement, MC on midterm/exam very tricky. Impossible to get A+.
