Kevin and Finley are the goats. I Lost my entire protools session and they took the time to help me out, great guys - tbh I'm not a fan of protools 😂
So helpful… The best at RTA!
FINLAY IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YASSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My fav from the audio team from first year. I am not a radio person, but Finlay made it manageable and interesting for me, great prof.
Finlay, what a guy!! I was so happy to see he got the position he was going for, because he sure knows how to teach audio in a way that is both amusing and awe-inspiring. This man made 9am lectures and 8am labs something I would actually look forward to! I have learned so much and I never felt lost. He's very adaptable and incredibly kind.
finlay is nice and helpful. great course(but online instruction is a struggle). finlay + max make up for it, but it's probably better in person. finlay is accessible by email, not scary and super reasonable. class assignments are not overwhelming. don't think lab is mandatory/graded(but you'll probably fall behind if you miss). 5/5
Finlay was in charge of the lecture-portion of RTA311. He goes through slides WAY too fast - thankfully he posts them afterwards. There are two tests (both being open-book) and a group presentation. Finlay is one of my favourite profs! Super funny and very caring! He clearly cares about his lectures (but the labs are more interesting)
Probably one of my favorite teachers. I was really dreading doing audio when I came into first year, but Finlay made it 10x more fun than I thought it would be. Super chill guy and a pretty generous marker. I ended up with a 94% average (and I think the majority of the class did too). Would highly recommend having him as your prof.
Great prof! really knows everything there is to know about audio and teaches it very well too!
