He is a great prof. The classes were really fun to attend, didn't feel like a class at all as the lectures were enjoyable to listen to while at the same time being educational.

Hands down the best prof ever. Very passionate about his subject and cares about his students. Attendance matters as he doesn't post lectures and gives hints on exams. Also grades the essays generously. If you have a chance take this prof won't regret it.

Dr. Raj is a great prof. He has an intriguing teaching style and appropriately critiques religions without offending them. Genuinely makes you question and think. People who didn't like him were overly conservative, narrow-minded people. His midterm, essays and final exam were all fairly easy - would take again! Opened the way I view the world.

One of the best profs I have EVER had. He is so caring and passionate about not only the topic at hand, but us as students. Always offered help in life and the course for us to do well. The exam was no surprises and very fair. Have to attend lectures and read the textbook because the slides are not posted but the readings are not bad at all. Easy A

Dr. Raj is an amazing prof. He's so passionate about the course and loves teaching. Aside from the curriculum, he really cares for his students and understands what we are going through so he takes the time to talk to us during lectures. He's always willing to give advice whether it's school or non-academic related. Overall a solid choice!

Great speaker, makes lectures enjoyable, and is always flexible, he helps out alot for the essays, midterm, and exam. You must read the textbook, and attend lectures because he does not post lecture slides on d2l, but his slides are easy to follow and not heavy in writing.

Fantastic professor both from a moral and academic perspective. Wanted you to do well in the course, need the textbook and to do readings, need to show up to class but the lectures are really enjoyable that you'll want to show up. Was able to act neutral when expressing the textbooks opinions but was always open and engaging in conversation.

Amazing prof! Really cares about his students and wants us to do well. Lectures are mandatory since he gives many hints for tests. Overall, awesome course!
