Terra Long

Terra is wonderful and easy to connect with, always willing to help out and give feedback- use her office hours! The class is intense with either a pitch or a screening every week but once you get in the groove of it, it's fun although stressful for those who don't enjoy public speaking. Try to be original and participate in class discussions.

Shes a very nice teacher and will tell you what she felt while watching your film. Has good rapport with students.

This class is great for getting you in the groove of coming up with film ideas on a regular, fast-paced basis. Every week you are either pitching or screening a film. You work on 16mm film with Bolex cameras-- lots of room for error, but worth it to learn. Terra is slightly tough to grade, open-minded to pitch ideas, and gives helpful feedback.
