Glen is a really nice professor and structures his class well. However, Glen is very picky when it comes to assignments and doesn't really explain in full detail what he expects from you. You have to put a lot of effort into the assignments in order to get that A. He is a tough grader but it is manageable to do well in his class.
Great prof, easily one of the friendliest and approachable profs for Communications. Material isn't overtly easy however it is by no means difficult. Feedback could be better. Coming to lectures is needed if you want a good grade, as you will practice most of the assignment tasks in class. The kind of prof that can make a bad/ok course good.
I preferred to take this class online to avoid the in class presentation. The weekly discussion boards are annoying but that is part of the curriculum. Most of the papers are fairly short and not too difficult. The presentation and final project were graded nicely compared to the beginning assignments. Overall nice guy!
Taught the lab section of CMN 288. Make sure you go to class to do the in-class activities, it will bring down your mark if you don't do them (seriously). Other than that he's a super chill guy
Really nice guy as long as you do your work it's easy
I loved Glen!!! His lectures were interesting and he tries his best to add humour and interaction. He is super helpful when it comes to answering questions and is always interested in what you have to say. Definitely recommend!!
Overall I really enjoyed him as a teacher, there were some pitfalls (please stop with group projects), but overall he was amazing. I enjoyed the class and would recommend to have him as a prof. He is funny and very understanding.
Really nice prof. Didnt like how he posted slides after class but overall gave detailed asf feedback.
Great lectures, were really good because this prof had work experience to integrate into lectures. Use the 3rd edition, someone on fb has the PDF.
Easy A guys. Go to class, don't go to class. Doesn't matter. You have to learn the material at some point so if you learn better on your own, don't go to class. If you feel like learning it in class go to class. Tests are a breeze. Project are graded well. He recommends using outside sources for extra help. Good guy. Funny. Definitely a great Prof.
