Had the pleasure of being taught by Professor Herman and I can honestly say it was amazing all-around. She gives detailed feedback and can be easily accessed outside of class time. The feedback is 100% for your own good as she wants the best for her students. Take what she says and use it as it will benefit you in the future.

Ana-Marie Herman is a great professor for the Capstone project, and really tries her best to help students with the project to a professional degree. Her experience with the project shows as she is very understanding and helpful throughout the entire year of the project. Very happy to have had her atleast once during my time in BTM - Great prof!!

Professor Herman is one of the those profs who will support you no matter what if they see that you're putting an effort. For the Capstone project, she was very clear on her expectations and she always provided us with guidance when needed. She replies to emails very fast and does her best in assisting students with their inquiries.

I was very lucky to have professor Herman for my graduation project because she really made it so simple with all the help she provided. Always replied to my emails in a reasonable time and makes it very clear as to what she is looking for in her assignments. She really cares about her students and i would definitely recommend taking her.

Professor Herman is a solid choice for the duration of the ITM 90AB capstone project & ITM 750. She was always willing to give solid feedback on the status of our project, was very respectful and caring towards our group, and genuinely cares about student success. There are a lot of misconceptions about Professor Herman, however she is by far the greatest ITM professor at Ryerson. She is extremely caring and helpful, and will do absolutely anything to clear up any issues you maybe be having. She was a great professor for ITM750 as well as ITM90. She gives amazing feedback and actually teaches you. TAKE HER

I had professor Herman for the full-year BTM capstone project. During the group meetings she would give us constructive feedback on how to improve. Make sure you take her feedback and implement it into your final report. She is easily available outside of class for post-grad guidance and questions/concerns the group might have. Participation is key

Great prof to talk to outside of class, gives confusing answers to questions asked about in class material, seems like she is unsure of some of the material herself. Marks the case analysis REALLY hard but the exam was super easy. This course is heavily textbook based!
