I did my 3rd year field trip with him. He was really nice and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him as a prof.
He always refers to Vancouver, be prepared! Hes a good person, however
The class itself is boring (since is based on textbook and he just read off the slides) but you will get use to it. The main problem is his TAs, they will give you the lowest mark possible and ignore your effort.
He seems like a honest and genuine guy! However, his slides are based off the textbook, so he is just reading off the slides for the most part. However, there are some instances where he will talk about something adding on the topic. For his midterms and tests, be prepared to understand figures and the planning processes.
He's a nice guy, just a bit quiet. His lectures are pretty long and may be a bit tiring as he speaks in a bit of a monotone voice. Marks are made of several things which is nice since you can get a few boosters and the exams are non-cumulative and multiple choice. He's also willing to answer any questions you may have and gives pretty decent marks
Seems like a really nice guy but has poor communication skills. Very soft spoken and slides are heavily filled with copy-paste notes from the textbook. Does not make eye contact and basically reads off the slides. Assigned a paper due at the end of the exam period after we already had an exam for his class.. not sure how that was approved
He seems to be a nice guy, but as a teacher he is immensely monotone and slow. If you are just looking to pass, you don't need to go to the lectures, the slides have way to much info. but they do the job. Tests are easy as they are not cumulative and multiple choice. If you want to get a high grade, you need to go to the lectures.
He seems like a good man who takes a keen interest in Urban Planning. Didn't buy the textbook and didn't really need it tbh. Exam wasn't cumulative and both it and the midterm were all multiple choice and pretty easy. His powerpoints have all the notes you need and really detailed notes. No need to attend class as he literally just reads the slides
seems nice as a person, but as a lecturer, he's very boring. just reads off the slides, very quiet, lots of curriculum to learn with a final exam out of 5 questions (randomly pulled from anywhere)
