Maria Petrescu

Maria is by far the nicest prof I've ever had. She is so considerate of her students, email her about an issue and she will accommodate accordingly. Her lectures were always recorded. The course was weighted on 3 quizzes, 3 assignments, and weekly reflections. Definitely would take a class with her again.

Maria is such an understanding professor, she really wants the best for her students and teaches great content. There are 3 quizzes and 2 assignments, NO EXAM.

Maria is a wonderful professor who genuinely cares about her students. She condenses the dense textbook all while making relevant and authentic examples to clarify bigger concepts. Yes, she expects students to study well and produce good work, however she is always available to discuss any questions you may have. I highly recommend her class!

Although Maria can be accomodating to a degree her level of expectation for assignments is extremely high and her grading is unnecessarily hard. I worked super hard in this course only receiving an A- For a brochure assignment she took marks off because the printer had made the font a bit blurry on the hard copy. She would not accept an online copy

The course textbook for this class is brutal - Maria is great at being able to condense information in a way that's understandable (although reading the textbook is probably still needed). She always uses real life examples and makes sure everyone's on the same page before moving on. Fair marker and really cares about her students.

She's one of the best professors i have ever had. Very kind, very accommodating. She really cares about her students and her grading is very reasonable. If you don't show up to class thats okay because she posts her notes online. I would defiantly want to have her as my professor again!
