worst prof ever give him easiest concept and somehow he makes it the most complicated thing ever Terrible handwriting terrible lecture waste of time and heavy test...
Professor seems knowledgeable however he is difficult to follow. He is distracted easily, loses his train of thought and his explanations are disjointed making it very difficult to follow and learn. I was terrified of this course - literally made myself sick from the stress of trying to understand the material. It was either learn or hard luck!
This professor is great, however he makes a few mistakes that students often have to correct him on. He is extremely kind, one of the most laid back professors at Ryerson. Super helpful when you ask for help. Horrible hand writing, but the textbook will be your best friend in this class. It gets slightly unintuitive after the midterm.
What kind of professor doesnt use powerpoint slides and only uses lined paper notes while expecting students to copy his work off the board. I love math except when I took this class.
clear, helpful and supportive and on top of that he is knowledgeable and has what some call the "math sense". you may find him sometimes not confident when explaining, but that definitely does not mean he doesn't know what he is talking about.
he is like those famous mathematicians in history. very knowledgeable and smart. if you have had a good basis in math before he is your guy otherwise probably not. expect to do lots of homework and always open your eyes to everything being said and you will get an A+. he deserves to be called the smartest in math dep for sure
Very easy to understand. Do your homework and youll be fine. Loved the course and you should definitely choose his classes.
Dr Craig is a very nice person. However he makes the material more confusing than it has to be. He is definitely knowledgeable and approachable in office hours. He will give you deeper level of knowledge but if you didn't read the textbook ahead of time you will be confused in class. He also makes ton of mistakes in his notes which is not ideal.
Despite being a nice guy, Gordon is often very unsure of his own work and is always making mistakes, making it hard to understand what he's teaching. It's hard reading his notes as his writing is really messy, and he focuses too much on proofs and definitions that he gets right from the textbook rather than doing helpful examples.
