Was amazed at how clearly he laid out grading criteria for the two assignments and exams. The final exam was basically the same questions presented during the final review lecture/slides but with different numbers. He also laid out exactly how many questions on the midterm and exam will come from a specific chapter, making studying that much easier
One of the best profs at Ryerson, he makes the class interesting by adding on to the slides so that students are able to relate to the real world. He is a caring prof. All material is posted online
Very helpful in explaining the calculations covered in class. 5% on participation where you'll just have to sign the attendance sheet and then you can leave. All the material is from the slides so there's no textbook. Simply memorize the material to get a A.
He's definitely very passionate and knowledgeable about real estate and wants his students to do well. Very approachable, open to questions and willing to talk to students during breaks and outside of class. Overall, a genuinely kind-hearted prof, would take him again!
Assignments were fairly graded and his exams were extremely reasonable (what you learn from his slides/lectures will be on the exam; hence, no textbook needed). He's also very genuine and you can tell he wants his students to succeed and ace the course - he's always willing to help and answer any questions needed. I would definitely recommend him.
Nice prof overall. The grading and tests are fair, and he is pretty nice.
Teaches the content pretty well. You do not have to attend to do well! Just read off his slides and you'll be fine. Make sure you are keen on the small details, as they will come up in the midterm and final! Assignments were fairly graded if you put in the effort! Overall, would take again with him!
