Should really change the structure of the course as the class average for tests have been 60-70s the past few years. The tests are confusing. Questions are randomly chosen and sometimes gives the same question three times.
She is a nice prof and will listen to your feedback but do not expect anything to change. The grading and course outline structure changed several times and is not consistent. For a course that is about creativity and agency, the quizzes are not that. There are right answers to readings even if you are encouraged to have your own interpretations.
Cherry is very bubbly, she definitely has a real and genuine passion for working in the field of ECE. However, she is overly sarcastic, it comes across as biased and judgmental towards students opinions and experiences. The course in general, is organized uniquely; it is all based on articles.
She is a good prof and the class is very engaging. The amount of papers and the final group assignment is very demanding of your time and there is a lot of criteria to meet if you want a decent grade in the course. If you can manage your time well on top of everything else then you should be okay.
Her lectures are good, though not very detailed but there is a lot of reading so it makes up for it. I would say she's a fair grader too. However, she's overly sarcastic to students and sometimes it's rude.
She's fun and accommodating
She is an awesome professor! Take her class!
She was very kind and understanding, and the class was not that difficult.
Cherry is a great prof who cares about her students. She grants a lot of extensions and has clear assignment expectations!
