Bonnie Johnston

This professor was not accessible at all. You can send her emails and she would reply weeks after the assignments were due. Marks so last minute and unfair. She was MIA the whole term. Would not reccomend taking a course with her.

Bonnie seemed very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, she was not very accessible by email. The 2 major assignments did not have rubrics. Overall an easy course, would recommend if that's what you need but don't expect much support if needed with assignments. She also marked things VERY late, so we had no clue how we were doing in the course.

Bonnie was nice however, I did not have the best experience. Videos and presentations were too long. I would aim to chose another prof.

Bonnie is one of my favourite professors ever. Aside from her being extremely knowledgable with what she teaches, she is a wonderful human being and treats her students as equals. She's very fair with marking and will give you help when needed. I am so glad she is teaching a course with Indigenous perspectives and I wish I could take another!

Only two presentations (one being a group), an essay and a one page response. Easy A if you put in some effort. Bonnie is so nice, caring and an easy marker, I would 100% take her class again. Lectures can be boring as there is a lot of videos. Essay was easy, no research involved. Did not have to do any of the readings and no exams.

Bonnie was a fantastic prof and was able to still make her content in an online forum interesting and engaging. She makes learning interesting and I would definitely take a course with her again.

Bonnie is one of those profs that you will get once in a lifetime. She is kind, wise, and all around a wonderful person. The content she teaches is clearly something she is passionate about, and makes it both interesting and understandable. Would highly recommend taking her classes

Professor Bonnie is FANTASTIC! Seriously my favourite professor by far! She's sweet, understanding, and highly knowledgeable. She's a fair marker, makes the course material captivating, and allows extensions if you're in dire need. She's a gem, and you're blessed if she's teaching you!

I know a lot of people in the class liked her, but I found this prof had limited critical incite into the subjects we covered and seemed unwilling to challenge students statements in order for them to think more deeply about their ideas. She was nice, but I was bored and frustrated by the lectures.
