He is passionate about the course and you need to go to class and make notes as there is no textbook and he often drop hints in class on what is going to be in exams. Exams were not easy nor hard. He marks the essay easy.
His midterm and exam were the same format and difficulty, multiple choice and short answer. But only way to do well in his class is by going to class and writing down what he says will be tested. Exam was harder, but thats because I skipped class the later half. Essay he marks easy. Course is boring and no textbook required. Go to class to succeed
His exams are really difficult. Make sure to study really hard for them. Definitely not a bird course
Very good professor. He really cares about the subject he teaches and the material isn't too hard. No textbook which is good but you should go to class cause some of the stuff he says is in the exams
Hands down one of the best upper liberal professor at Ryerson. No books needed, and all his slides includes all the information you need for the exams. He is very passionate about teaching and his lectures are very interesting. Essays were marked easily. I did mine the day before due date, didn't put that much effort yet I still got an A+.
I'm pretty dumb, but I got a B so it not too difficult. I honestly wrote the 40% worth paper the night before and it was not so good, but he marks easy. He's super passionate about what he teaches and really wants students to understand and get a good grade. If I put in the basic effort I would have done better. Amazing prof, who actually caring.
Ricardo is an absolute gem. No textbook required for this class as everything is on his slides. Content isn't the most interesting but he is very passionate about the topics and is always willing to clarify things for students. Marks the paper very easily and tells you everything you need to know for the midterm and finals.
Very fair Professor. 2 exams (Midterm & Final) both were fairly easy. Midterm was harder than final. One essay graded easily worth 40%. Would take another class with Ricardo. This class was taught well and the content was interesting. It is not very technical in terms of knowledge of economics and you don't need an economics background to succeed
Very nice guy, pretty easy course as long as you read the slides (and go to class), interesting topics, no textbook. I wish we have more prof like him in Ryerson.
CUTEST MAN ALIVE TAKE HIS CLASS! I'm not in economics and this class is not difficult. No textbook, but if you don't go to lectures you might not understand all the content. Also tells you what is important to study for exams, and the paper is marked easy. Recommend, Ricardo is adorable and so passionate about this class!
