I love dr sheps, he is an amazing teacher and very caring. He is my favourite professor and i would take any class he teaches again

If you don't want to suffer for a semester, don't take this guys class.

There is nothing good about this guy. His lectures don't relate to the class, he shoves his political opinions down your throat, exams include topics that weren't covered in lectures or readings, assignment sheets are vague, he randomly changes when and where office hours are and he marks extremely harsh.

hes...fine. i think if you take away the fact he occasionally makes jokes in class you'll realize hes just okay. he talks a lot, encourages others to talk which is fine until it eats up the entirety of the class but then again hes not really teaching, more so talking. an average marker. idk

hes not bad overall just never stops talking, assignments aren't hard and he isn't a hard marker at all. if you can't sit thorugh long lectures with participation and a bit of group work, don't take his class!

i loved this class but professor will tell u your work is good but when you recieved your grade you will see points taken off over nothing

He is a great person and lots of fun. But he is a really really tough grader and it doesn't line up with the feedback he gives in class. He will take marks off for the tiniest things but tell you in class that your work had no issues. Be prepared for group work.

Provides a safe and encouraging environment that fosters learning without fear of failure. Always willing to meet after hours for questions on assignments or to chat about anything that's going on outside of school. He is always happy to see students' success and will do everything to help them excel. Very understanding of any accommodations!

Not lenient with accommodations or grading. Lecture material doesn't match exams

Very caring and gives good feedback. Really likes to engage with class so get ready to talk if class is silent. Funny guy that loves sports, so he helped me with a lot of things that I appreciate. Just come to class and don't be on your phone.
