I hated condescending he was about assignments and would talk like the student is a little toddler. Claims everything is illegal.
I don't think I've ever had such a rude, condescending, and infantilizing prof. He interrupts students all the time and speaks in this tone that makes you feel like he thinks you're a child (while also telling you you're an adult and this should be easy). Does not post a marking scheme and will absolutely remove 32% over "wrong" APA referencing.
Avoid this prof at all costs. He is not a clear marker. He's rude and condescending and if you happen to leave his class for a few minutes he takes attendance and will mark you absent. He argues with the students a lot. Stay away.
I used to have him as a TA. Great at teaching concepts, but forces you to go to class as he never post his slides online. Can be unreasonable to deal with if you need clarification. I have seen his good side on many occasions though. I wish his marking scheme was explained in detail because he often gives assignments without much prior preparation.
One of the worst profs I've ever had at Ryerson! He constantly argues with his students when they ask for clarification, cuts them off, and responds to questions with another question. He is incredibly rude and condescending and does not respond to his emails promptly, even beyond the 48 hour window outlined in the syllabus. Avoid him at all costs!
A horrible, rude, and condescending professor who looks down upon his students, refuses to listen to other opinions, and ignores the wishes of the very students that pay for his class. He cuts off students as they speak, does not post his lecture slides, does not give proper clarification, and is useless as a professor. DROP his class!
This prof encourages you to participate and then makes you feel stupid for not giving an answer that he wanted. He also gives very unclear instructions for activities during class time, and if you ask a question he will dismiss it. He sent emails to people when they missed two lectures. His lectures are also very dry.
AMAZING Prof! It was the first communication course I take and I would definitely take another course with him. His lectures are amazing. His slides are very clear and he explains everything in detail.
Prof is truly awful. He's knowledgeable on course material, however, reads right of the slides only slightly expanding. Considering lectures aren't posted online, he goes through slides far too quickly, without giving students enough time to copy down a sentence. Grading is VERY tough, expecting us to know exactly what he wants with no rubric provided.
Terrible. He is just the absolute worst. He constantly talks to the class as if the students were a bunch of pre-schoolers and assigns way more homework than other classes. Not only does he assign more homework, he is also a tough and unfair grader. Avoid at all costs if you want at least a decent grade. Definitely drop the course if you can't.
