Best prof ever! super understanding and cool! would 1000% take his class again
he is truly one of the best profs in first year! participation is mandatory for his class, he will call on you mid lecture but he never puts your ideas down. dan gives amazing feedback, responses to emails and trys to make everything meaningful!
he is genuinely one of the best profs you could have in your first year. so understanding of what students like and are comfortable with, and always encourages you to try new things AND will acknowledge what you're good at. he is big on participation and might call on, but he'll never talk down on your answer. gives amazing feedback.
This review is for RTA 234. Berlin is a great teacher and person who knows so much about the subject ,atter, but he will talk A LOT. Get ready to have long debates over minute details that will not matter at the end of the day. Very flexible guy though and overall a good class.
Professor Berlin is an amazing prof. His classes are very engaging and fun. He does his best to ensure that all students in the classroom are keeping up with everything that is going on and he encourages teamwork amongst students to run the class efficiently. I highly recommend not skipping this class ever, as the material requires your presence.
Professor Berlin is the best teacher I have had at TMU. He did some of my classes online during COVID-19 and others in person. He shows just how much he cares for his students. You will never fail so long as you try. 11/10
Dan is awesome, enthusiastic, and energetic. He brings the heat to every class. Sometimes grading criteria seems a little bit unclear and like he's throwing out percentages based on nothing, but overall if you try your best he'll have no issues with your work. He expects a lot and teaches a lot but he's an awesome guy.
I took Dan in my second year during the pandemic in 2020/2021, and he is one of the most considerate, understanding professors I have ever come across.
