Cecilia Rocha

Cecilia is very knowledgable and respectable. The concepts of economics were scary to me (graphs upon graphs, test 2/exam are application based), but she is an excellent professor who wants to see her students do well! After test 1, the content really picks up so it is critical to stay on track and put in effort to succeed on test 2 & the exam.

Dr. Rocha is a fantastic prof. She explained everything very clearly with very good examples. She provided notes and lecture slides. The test was all you needed to know and it was fair. Test 1 might be a little bit hard, b/c it was all economy concepts. Test 2 you may feel not enough time as it only has 1 hour. Overall, she is a fantastic prof.

Dr. Rocha is very approachable and seems to sincerely care about students. She makes difficult economic concepts easy to grasp; however, be present at all lectures (physically and mentally) if you want to do well! Be ready to take notes from start to finish! Whole grade is based on just two midterms and a final exam, so stay on top of the material!
