set up a LOWER liberal harder than an upper liberal
Explains concepts very clearly, and is super energic. Dr. Oulahen encourages you to be precise with your assignments and your thinking
Easy course if you have some background knowledge on sustainability from previous EUS courses. Essays were graded with excellent feedback, focusing more on content than writing mechanics. You'll gather way more insight with interest in the topic and class participation.
Goated guy. If you participate you'll get a high grade. Pretty passionate about the courses he teaches, and cares about his students. However, I wouldn't say he's the easiest marker ever: his assignments have a high grade weighting, with small rubrics, so a minor mistake can bring your assignment down 5-10%. But would still take again.
Honestly, Dr. Oulahen was one of my favourite profs at TMU. He's engaging and made our 10 a.m classes actually enjoyable. He's very kind and is clearly passionate about what he teaches, I learned a lot from his classes. I also really appreciated that he doesn't randomly call on people, which was perfect for someone like me who has anxiety lol
Greg is wonderful - cares about students, their wellbeing and attention span. Very understanding and modifies content / lectures to what students are interested in & what is relevant in current news / events.
Absolutely amazing professor, he makes the class engaging and you honestly care about the material. Very knowledgeable and wonderful person overall
This professor is very engaging with how he teaches; listening to his lectures is very enthralling. The grading criteria on the assignments and term paper are not specific, though if you take good notes on the material he goes over in class, you can do well on them.
requires you to take notes for every lecture, avoid him if you don't want to do note-taking. He is really a tough grader, his feedback on assignments are very strict. He conducted the course in a fast-pace.
This's a lower level course, but the content on his slides are very very minimal, this makes the course itself seems not a lower level course
