I'll be honest, I didn't attend all the lectures because Tim isn't the most entertaining prof. He is, however, very knowledgeable and a very nice guy. His grading criteria is very fair, the assignment was very straightforward. The final exam was a breeze because he gives many questions and you can choose which ones you would like to answer.
If you're interested in the world of intellectual property Tim is the guy. Great lectures. Entertains any question. Lectures are always fun and interesting. The way he teaches may be a bit monotone but he makes up for it in clarity and eagerness to teach. Highly recommend.
Very good professor that knows what he is talking about. You need to go to class because 1) there is a participation mark and 2) the slides are very vague and can be confusing sometimes. Other than that he made the material interesting and engaging. Definitely would take his class again.
Lowman does not treat his students fairly when marking and if you don't go to class and talk you will get an awful participation mark
Good prof who knows what he's talking about and brings in great guest speakers who give you deeper insight to IP law. He's willing to give individual feedback on tests and assignments. Downsides, he is monotone during lectures and only allows for 1 page crib sheet for midterm and final.
Professor Lowman knows what he is talking about, the only problem is the fact that the man is very monotone. And IP Law isn't the most interesting topics, but if you came for an "Easy A", not this professor.
