Treisha Hylton

Professor Treshia has a great teaching style and explains concepts with great detail. Unfortunately, they have a nasty attitude and are hostile, judgmental, and rude. I left the conversation contemplating thoughts of suic*de.

Horrible. So disorganized, does not teach properly; uses other people's work. TAs were even confused themselves with the assignments and grading. Was super rude to students in emails. everything was based off of the readings, half of which weren't accessible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Try and avoid her at all costs. I had two separate classes with her, first sem she cancelled all her zoom lectures simply because she felt like it and both semesters she used material from previous profs, nothing original. Her TA's are also a mess, I have no idea how she's still teaching.

Dr. Hylton was literally the easiest prof's I have ever had, ever. She is hilarious, compassionate, personable, admirable, and overall a really nice person. She was accommodating for all the assignments and pushed it so we had more time to complete them. She's a delight.

It was really nice to be in professor Hylton's class. I did not attend her classes as I had the TBA online section during COVID fall semester. But I was able to get an A as she posted great slides shows that were full of content and had all that is needed for the exams besides the readings. Her exams consisted of short answers and couple of MC.

Great professor amazing lectures and gives useful feedback. I would love to take more of her classes, she is a real inspiration :) !!

Don't take this class unless u wanna fail. Her TAs failed half of the class and her tests are subjective. Even you go to class, you still might fail.

Made a very boring class interesting and engaging. Would actively seek to take again. Her lectures are memorable and I will carry the lessons she taught me throughout my education. She is a little tough, but it's so worth it.

this professor is so unrespectful, and her TA is even worse. Half of the students failed the tests. The test is not related to what she taught in classes. A lot of readings, ignore the emails, not respect.

At the begining of the semester I was anti-Treisha, she is very opinionated and her lectures revolve around racial concerns. However, after spending a semester with her, I can now appreciate her teaching style as well as how she challenges her students to elaborate on their opinions. Always be ready to back yourself up with facts
