Prof. Wang is knowledgeable and approachable. The course isn't easy, but if you attend professor Wang's lectures, pay attention to the topics covered, ask questions, read her notes, do homework, and go over previous midterms and tests, you will have a good grade. Fyi, you should already be familiar with many topics covered from QMS classes.

Not sure why there are so many negative things about this prof, I actually didn't mind her. Doesn't provide too many practice questions for the exams, so you kinda have to stretch your mind a little during the exams. But I thought the content/the notes she has are actually really good. She provides examples for everything and that really helped me.

I'm not an economics major so this class has been a struggle, but Yu has made it bearable ! Her pre recorded lectures are helpful, and she answers her emails really quick. She even took the time to go through the midterm with me over Zoom and give individual explanations to the wrong answers. She really seems to care about her students.

Very difficult course and this prof clearly did not know how to teach it. Posted video lectures of her explaining the material but made examinations significanty more difficult than lecture examples. Final grades were so low that the prof had to boost everyone's score by 12%. Overall a very bad experience with this prof.

Insane final mark bell curve.

by far the worst course and the worst prof ive ever had. you can get a free 30% from the assignments but thats about it. she doesnt really "teach" she just goes over her notes, adds a voiceover, uploads that and slaps a "lecture" label on it. remote learning is hard as is, doesnt help with profs like Yu Wang. TAs werent much help either. 0/10

Does not teach anything, does not post lecture notes, forced you to watch her videos - to which she just reads them and highlights over the notes. Please do yourself a favour and not take this class with her. It's a hard subject to learn, and Wang does not do a good job in teaching the material.

Dont take her class if you dont have to. Doesnt really explain anything and youre pretty much left to deal with everything on your own. I'd give her a rating of 0 if i could.

The content is not very difficult, but the professor is simply so bad at teaching it that it seems impossible. Do not even bother going to the lectures as the material that she teaches there will not be tested. Read the textbook instead. Assignment grades are drawn out of a hat, good luck.
