Clara Chapdelaine

She is clearly brilliant and talented (her specs show it too). But she can definitely be more flexible and give more time and opportunity to students to speak. She is eager to fit in so much content in class and it's unrealistic. Overall, good and prepared prof and you learn a lot from her!

She is the greatest Professor ever! Had her for LAW122 and LAW534 and she inspired me to pursue law. Kind human who genuinely cares about her students!

Just go to class, make notes, and skim the textbook. She uses real-life examples and keeps the class very interactive. Honestly one of my favorite professors.

Honestly, show up to class. It gets boring but she covers her slides very well. If you follow along and write down how she solves them, you'll do well on her finals. She also loves students who ask questions and participate, she will remember your name even if you put your hand up once. Very sweet and smart woman overall.

Clara is a really nice professor and goes over the topics pretty concisely. The tests weren't too difficult but the time limit on them are quite tight. I recommend reading the textbook and attending her classes if you want to get a decent mark.

Great professor. Very professional and goes over difficult topics as needed. The class seemed to have trouble with the ethics papers (usually they are marked harder to bring test averages down but it's only worth 10%). Very enthusiastic about law and makes the course more enjoyable. Would take again 100%

Professor Clara is extremely knowledgeable on the material and overall professional, and very caring towards her student. The course consisted of 2 tests and a final. She marked hard when it came to the tests & finals, and could of been more generous with the marks. In terms of teaching she is very clear, and enthusiastic!

If you're pursuing Law, you NEED her! She is amazing and she explains very well, she is caring and will teach what is necessary. Gives amazing example and helps you adapt to the language of law EASILY! must take if you have the choice!

Amazing professor, really makes sure that the students understand the material. She is the reason I am minoring in law, she helped me understand so much and is always there to help. Nothing bad to say about her if you have the chance TAKE HER TRUST ME! if you put in effort you will understand, she really teaches hard concepts with such ease.

Clara was one of the best professors I've had at Ryerson. If you come to class and listen to the practise questions she does the tests will be a breeze. All tests are open book, and similar questions were taken up in class. She looks over all tests marked by TA's to make sure you got graded fairly. Would defiantly recommend taking Law 122 with her
