He's a really good professor, he's clearly passionate about what he teaches and gives good lectures. He doesn't grade too harshly either! Compared to some other liberals it does require a little more effort due to weekly discussions, but he makes his exams quite easy. The course is structured around few things so it's very digestible
He's very friendly and teaches with Powerpoint. We covered some interesting philosophers, but I wish we studied more of Byung Chul Han. He does in class assignments, so it's important to come to class if you want to do well.
He's a very kind man, and it's easy to get a good grade if you do what is asked (he's not a difficult marker). However, I feel like I could have gotten so much more out of this course with a different professor, just because he goes over so many philosophers and it honestly doesn't seem like he himself understands them in enough depth.
Fun prof and a chill out easy course. Would take another course with him.
Excellent professor. Interesting material.
He is an amazing teacher but he does not posts his note and this course is assignment heavy so u have to read a lot.
This is a difficult course, in part because the instructor is a demanding grader. The lectures are also abstract. While the philosophical rigor is evident, the material is not always presented in a way that makes it easy to understand. It often feels as though a prior background in philosophy is necessary to fully grasp what is being discussed.
The professor is very knowledgeable, and his lectures are insightful and informative. While he can be brief with students at times, he is clearly invested in the course. There are frequent in-class assignments, so regular attendance is important to succeed. He also pays close attention to AI use in coursework.
He uses in class grading and oral exam. So no AI helps. Material is interesting anf he is energetic lecturer.
Absolutely arbitrary grading. No actual elaboration on how grades are determined. His lectures are this bs “hey look at me, I'm your cool guy prof,” when it's obvious he doesn't want to be these. And without mentioning any comment directly, I find it extremely peculiar that all these people have the exact same writing style and 5/5 experience.
