Great lectures, very engaging, never went the full 3 hours; typically only 2 hours. Textbook is not necessary as long as you attend class and pay attention. Post slides online. Provides exam questions in advance, so studying is very easy.
She seems like a very nice professor however, her tests are a nightmare. you think you would do good while writing it but when you get your mark back, you seem to bomb it. I am a pretty good student it's not like I'm a dummy. Her marking is so tough. If you don't write down a cookie-cutter response, you are cooked.
I accidentally enrolled in CRM 315 instead of 310, and after hearing my friends' experiences, I'm glad I did. I didn't study enough for the first test, but improved by 20% on the second and another 20% on the exam. She was a great professor, easy to listen to and take notes with.
She is a very passionate professor and is definitely not as tough of a grader as people make her out to be. I was just not a fan of the fact that there are three tests for this course. Perhaps I would have rated her higher had it been another course. I would take her again depending on the course, though.
This professor was great! The class has three exams in total, two worth 30% and a final worth 40%. It is very important to attend all lectures, as her slides are not very detailed, and easy to miss out on information. The exams contained mc, short answer, and one long answer from the case studies in class. Recommend going to her office hours!
This professor is really good at explaining and engaging with the class. There are 2 midterms worth 30% each and one final exam worth 40% you receive the long answer question ahead of time and she actually goes over it and gives you the answers. This class has no math in it, it is all about methods. i would really suggest this class over CRM 310
The test has nothing to do with what she teaches, especially in her lectures. I can't use profanity to describe how she can be, since it's not allowed on this site. If you're looking for a challenge, take her course. Otherwise, most people wouldn't take it again. She's honestly the worst instructor I've ever had.
She assumes students are able to just grasp concepts the way she wants it to be understood without actually providing clarification. She does mark tougher than most professors which is fine, but her grading criteria seems scattered. She is also rude and does not seem interested in her work or helping dedicated students
Incredibly hard marker, and bases your grades off of two to three items max. I took CRIM 101 and it was a 40% midterm and a 60% final exam. She absolutely belittled the class for achieving a subpar class average. She is the opposite of facilitating or educational, she does not care that you learn, or even that you pass quite frankly. Steer clear!!
Course enrollement just reminded me of how terrible Jung was to our class. The course content it self is difficult and boring, Jung makes it worse by giving pointless long assignments and marking harder than necessary. I attended every lecture and was still only able to barely get a b-, if you care about GPA take the other mandatory course.
