David is a really awesome prof. Not my all time favourite but definitely up there. He really respects his students and even tries to memorize everyones names. He doesnt like people using laptops but it actually makes you focus more on the content. Cracks jokes every class keeps the atmosphere light hearted and invites you to participate. A+
A good witty professor and a nice person. Doesn't like tech, just wants you to pay attention to his lectures. No textbook, provides online readings. Uses clicker marks so go to class! Course is easy to pass as long as you do your readings for the midterm/exam. Approachable. One of my favourite profs in the Retail Faculty.
Best prof ever! Welcomes class discussions and different ideas. Makes the course material super interesting and makes the class enjoyable overall. Go to class, participate and skim through your readings before class and you'll be guaranteed an A.
One of the really good Retail profs at Ryerson. His lectures are interesting and engaging. He doesn't like the use of technology during lectures, which helps since people aren't distracted on their laptops. It forces people to actually listen and engage. I'm usually not one to be that engaged in lectures but I am in his class.
He comes off kinda unapproachable, but wants his students to do well. iClickers cover 10% of your grade and reviews the chapter material from the textbook. Makes you work for you mark, but there are many assignments to boost your grade. If you read the textbook, put in the effort, go to class and listen, you should be able to get an A no problem.
He is that amazing teacher you can have in your first semester. He let's you decide how the course goes. asks you to read specific articles before each session, and you should come prepared. he also explains the article in his pp. he cracks some funny jokes. respects students. experienced in retail-banking. 2 group projects(one team of 5 & other 2)
Tons of project and easy midterm. Great prof with knowledge in his area and make the lecture fun in some way. Iclicker Qs every week so need to go, lecture for fun, info from ppt textbook as help. Fair marker, get really high marks if you effort a little bit. But if you fail to do so will get what your work worth. Easy course, take for rmg career
David Lewis was a great professor, he tried hard to make the class engaging with real-world examples. For RMG200, there were a lot of weekly individual assignments which counted towards a pretty big portion of your mark so make sure you go to class. Midterm and final were pretty okay!
He worked in business before becoming a prof so he has lots of experience and uses great examples to teach. Assignments were interesting.
David Lweis was generally a good prof. He really tried to engage students in his lectures by having participation marks. The assignments are pretty easy if you follow his rubrics for them closely. The midterm/final were tough since this class doesn't have a textbook but articles for each topic which ranged from 2-5 articles per topic.
