Would not recommend this prof at all, doesn't make it clear what she wants in the midterm, and expects u to write an essay even though it doesn't say that in the question, barely let's u take notes properly by talking the entire time, posts no notes whatsoever ,and deducts a lot of marks even in assignments that should be average boosters,DO AVOID

Even though I received a B+ she is the worst prof I have ever had in my university career. She gives you one question for the midterm and final worth 30 marks not giving people the opportunity to do well if they don't know that question. If you ask a question via email her responses are asking if you went to class. Overall avoid her at all cost!

The professor is really nice and clear about exactly what she wants us to know. Go with her outline because its really helpful rather than reading the entire textbook. She is extremely helpful! The course material isn't hard, but you got to know your stuff and attend class. If you listen carefully in class, you don't even need to read the textbook.

Not the greatest. She speaks too fast, and has no power point slides. She shows the textbook on the screen, but never references it, so it's hard to know which section she's covering. Marks extremely hard. Says one thing in class and marks completely different. Even if you include something in an assignment, she ignores it & deducts. AVOID.

Maria is a truly amazing professor. She is understanding, kind and SUPER knowledgeable! She presents the course materials with enthusiasm. A pleasure to be in her class. Thank you Maria!

She was one of the best teachers I've had in the upper liberals. I loved her class and enjoyed coming to it! She always ensured that we understood the material and kept the most interesting in class discussions I've ever had. I honestly wish I had more upper libs to take her again!

Maria is an amazing professor. Definitely one of the few professors I have enjoyed in the last 3 years. She is understanding, kind and presents the course with enthusiasm. I did not think I was going to enjoy this course, but she made all the difference. I hope I take another one of her classes before I graduate.

What is the book called for this course? (GEO 106) From reading these ratings, it tells me that the CGEO course had a text, and the GEO one did not. Hoping it's good, thanks.

Very Strict marker.. for a lower level liberal it is quite hard.. i wouldnt recommened it.. although a nice teacher she is not Lenient at all.. was not understanding of our groups situation 60% of the course is group work just hope you end up in a better group than I was in... pay attention in class not a bird course..
