Anastasia Jones

I took City in History with her. The course is interesting but her teaching strategy is BAD! No ppts. you have to write every single word she says. You will miss a lot of info coz she talks fast. Hated that class. Way too much writing. You have to participate. Will never take her again!

Currently taking History in the City with Anastasia Jones. For a business major, I have found this course to be very engaging and interesting thanks to her. Her teaching style definitely plays a key role in keeping your attention in addition to the actual course material. Doesnt post notes so you MUST attend class. 1 annottd biblio, 1 asgmt, 1 exam

I took Anastasia's "History Of The City" course because it's somewhat in my wheelhouse and I needed another credit. While I've been taught similar content from other profs she made it so much more interesting. Her assignments were unique and didn't feel like the typical papers every other prof makes you write. I wish I could have her again.

Easily my fav prof for 1st year. For a history course she does really well in making it fun for the students. She is really good at what she does, and even if you do not do all the readings she is detailed enough that you can get by without it. Amazing lectures, but never posts any notes online so if you miss class you will be screwed.

Very enthusiastic professor and an excellent educator. Kept every lecture interesting and was always engaging
