I liked the variety of texts and the format of "lecture" materials for this asynchronous course. Multiple essays so lots of writing, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out the essay style she wanted, even after sessions with support writing, so tricky to really get a high grade imo
everything you learned about writing or research in high school will be thrown out the window in this course. she gives unclear feedback and instructions so its hard to tell what she wants from you going forward. the actual work isn't that though
cannot be satisfied at all and so unpredictable
She is full of herself and has a strong sense of entitlement.
Dr.Bida, is an average prof, not overly nice but is very accommodating. She has us do very easy homework throughout the semester, with two extra ones that are option (do them they boost your grade). Her instructions are confusingly written often without context but overall she will explain if you ask. Boring lecture especially if its early morning.
Be prepared to question if you doing stuff wrong or if the bar is just set in hell. Extremely vague instructions, and would help you with the work, but you'd still some how get it wrong
Dr. Bida gives clear feedback and is a thorough grader, and is approachable and kind. Her lectures can be boring, but they are helpful and I would recommend going for extra credit, information on assignments, and in-class feedback because she does not post lecture slides. She provides very detailed assignment and exam instructions.
too tough grader and very picky. I don't recommend.
Tough Grader. I don't recommend this professor's courses.
