This professor is fantastic! She explains complex math topics clearly and at a good pace. She's always open to questions and makes sure everyone is on the same page. The lectures are engaging and well-organized, and the tests reflect what's taught. I left the course feeling confident and supported.
another great prof at tmu. just attend her lectures, make sure you do the homeworks.PLEASE DO THE HOMEWORKS. the only reason i got a B+ in this course is cause i missed a couple homeworks. do them! she also posts the homework solutions and past exams which are extremely helpful. mid and finals are fairly easy and very similar to past exams.
Best math prof I have had so far at TMU, would absolutely recommend!
Dr. Wilkie is honestly an excellent professor. Her lectures are extremely useful and include examples that are very similar to those you will find on quizzes, midterm and final. The truth is that you will do well in the course if you go to the lectures, follow her examples and do the recommended homework problems. 100% recommended.
Dr. Wilkie is extremely knowledgeable about MTH330. I recommend going to office hours to seek help before completing weekly assignments and quizzes. The textbook she uses complements the lecture material quite well. If you do the homework and review problems from the lecture notes/assignments/lab problem sets you will do well in this course!
Prof Wilkie seemed nice, and very intelligent, but I did not particularly enjoy her lectures bc they were very boring (although that may just be bc she's teaching math lol). I also found that she spent too much time explaining and proving the background theory and it would have been better if she had just gotten to the point of the lesson.
She is a very good professor. She explains material very well and compared to other professors she is the GOAT of the mathematics department. She is the person to talk to for any advice and help. Though she needs to explain things more clearly but she does the best she can.
ate and left no crumbs. she's the GOAT. best math prof i've ever had. i'd take any course with her because she makes difficult concepts easy to understand and there are 0 surprises on her assessments (study the problems she gives you!) super accessible outside of class and explains things very thoroughly. i've never had a better time learning math.
Her lectures drag on for a while and tend to get boring at times, but you can tell she is very passionate about math. Sometimes she overcomplicates the concepts in her lectures so I would recommend reviewing what was taught on your own to understand it better. Overall she taught well and the tests were fair. Pay attention and you'll pass.
She was a great professor but her lectures were boring. However, if you attend each lecture, take notes, do the recommended problems, and do the assignments and quizzes you will get a good mark in this class.
