Emilia Barbu

She's very nice and accommodating and also teaches at a good pace. She tries to interact with her students and has great knowledge about economics and makes it more digestible. I also find her tests fair. Overall a very nice woman who has a good structure to her courses which is why I took multiple with her. Emilia is great!!

Very nice, appreciates when work and projects are done correctly following the given guidelines, at least one quiz question regarding the covered content; as a way of marking attendance, no homeworks

Absolutely awful. She does not care about her students. I am in my fourth and final year of school, and I have never rated any professor because I didn't feel the need to comment on them as they weren't this bad. But for this one, I had to make a comment and warn everyone to avoid her. Absolutely terrible. AVOID HER AT ALL COST

She is a very good professor, but it's hard to keep track of what she's teaching. I sometimes get lost in her homework questions. I do like her, but honestly, if I had an alternative teacher, I would take them instead. If you actually want to learn, don't take this course. If you want to just pass, this is the way.

Not a good professor at all. The entire course is self-taught reading, the prof doesn't actually teach anything. The modules are written in a convoluted and the material's presentation is dry. I took this course as a professionally related course and would highly discourage people who are looking for a bird course (though she is an easy grader).

Dr. Emilia is a brilliant professor. She is very professional in the way she teaches, at the same time she makes learning fun and cares about her students. I wish she could be my professor for other Economics courses too.

Emilia Barbu seems like a caring professor and wants you to succeed but honestly, I couldn't understand the notes & weekly questions. A lot of the notes & questions were contradictory and I had a really hard time understanding it. She gives notes that make sense and then asks like completely different questions on the assignments

A wonderful professor who is an expert in her field of study. She is probably the best economics teacher by far.

Dr. Emilia is a good professor. She's very caring and willing to explain everything. The course was quite easy for me.
