poor teaching, poor explanations, ok exams. Get the textbook, take in the spring/summer as your sole course and you will get an A/A+.
solid professor the content could be challenging but he made it simple, the final was more easier than any opf the 2 online midterms. Do some practice, understnad the basics and create a good cheat sheet and you will easily get a B+/A-.
The best instructor compared to others who teach this course. He makes the final exam significantly easier than other professors, such as Professor Gurvits.
Okay prof, all lectures are recorded except for final exam review. Both midterms were held online through D2L and the final was 65% in person. The final was confusing and alot of question related to chapter 2/3.
Course is structured weirdly with the final being worth 65%. In class he explains fine. If you don't understand the course past module/chapter 3 you won't understand anything. Very approchable and happy to answer questions online or in person. However speaks in the language of the course and if you don't understand it makes no sense. Study lots!
ok professor, i dont like the way he skips slides for the purpose of ending the lecture quicker it really makes it so you have to go back and understand yourself. His exams are ok but his teaching style is really poor, tells students to email me whenever but then doesnt reposnd. only good thing is the recordings thats it.
solid lecturer who goes through many examples, i wished he spent some time to actually explain certain examples but overall worth taking. The course is finance based so much diff, compared to other eng courses.
I have many complaints about this course mainly the test content not being very in line with the assignments or lecture, however this professor doesn't write the tests. I can only say good things about Dr. Toksoy, he goes through problems very carefully and shows every single step for the students who don't have a strong background in algebra.
explains concepts well, overall a dense course that requires basic finance understanding.
this course is already difficult and this prof did not make it any better. he wasn't very easy to understand and the 3 hour lectures make it even harder to stay focused. his exams were a lot harder than the other profs teaching the course in the same semester. good luck and may the odds be ever if your favor.
