Had him for 410 Winter 2017. Midterm exam was a breeze and the final was a little tougher. Be sure to sit near the front because he is very quiet. A bad habit of his is reading off power point slides. He bumped our final exam by 5% overall as the averages were around the 55%-60% range. Gave everyone a 90% or higher on the group projects.

Monotone voice and quiet, lectures are boring, he is really slow at uploading marks and replying to his emails, reads off slides.

Reads off slides. Quiet voice/monotone, emailed him 1 day before the exam, gets back to me 2 hours before it with vague response. Slow marker, tests dont fairly reflect everything we have learnt. You are better off learning the material on your own or take it with a different prof.

Very boring. Old school, reads word for word off the powerpoint. Very quiet, you cant hear him up close.

I don't even know what to say.. he doesn't really teach properly. He reads off the slides and is VERY VERY quiet. When you ask him for help he answers your questions in a very broad and general way then walks away.

Hesham Saadawi is a good professor who puts effort in ensuring his students are doing well. He responds to email really quick (sometimes within an hour of sending the email). One thing i do not like is that it is often hard to hear him. Besides that, he is all in all a pretty good professor!

This guy is amazing his lectures are fun, hilarious, and exciting. his lectures are clear and loud and he gives pity marks.

I've only had this guy for 1 week but he is so quiet I literally can't hear him when he is right in front of me. When he lectures he basically whispers and doesn't really explain the powerpoint slides that well.. Oh well lets see how the semester goes
