Mel was a great prof to have. Would love to take another class with them. Was flexible as to what was taught and actually touched on interesting, tangible, and new things. Would highly recommend that anyone take a course with Mel.

Mel was great until it came to grading the final paper. There was a lack of communication on behalf of the professor and a lot of student complaints. However, the class was overall enjoyable.

Best prof I've had at Ryerson yet. Fantastic lectures, interesting readings, and the assignments are interesting and flexible. A solid amount of group work. Mel cares so much and is willing to tailor lectures to what the students want to learn about. I would take any class taught by Mel.

Mel is a super great prof, and Ryerson is lucky to have her. I would definitely recommend taking this class because you will enjoy coming to her lectures, and would happily take this class again! Very personable and friendly with all students. No textbook required
