Fady Shanouda

Fady is a true gem in the world of academia. He is so passionate about his work and is extremely considerate and kind to students who reach out for help. His class discussions were so valuable and useful in terms of truly actualizing the work we read over the semester. Each reading was chosen carefully and thoughtfully. I love Fady so much.

Clearly cares a lot of about the subjects they teach. Extremely mindful of intersections of identity and open to critiques. Committed to classroom accessibility. If you have an opportunity to take a course with Fady, you should absolutely do it!

Not nice. Memorable bad class experience for me

Takes a very long time to respond to emails and questions. Its too bad we can't use names... made me & others feel down when he finally decided to answer questions especially when your question is a repeated one. Relates everything to his personal experiences (like no one else matters) and is not really open to other's experiences.
