Material was difficult and you must stay caught up to every weeks lesson or it will be difficult to pass. Concepts were explained well and professor was nice
Dr. Virdo is a great prof! His lectures are easy to understand and he has no problem giving further explanations if a student is confused. In order to do well in his class, do not skip lectures and participate in labs. He is lenient with grading and his exams are straightforward if you study and attend classes.
He made a very difficult course very easy to understand, as someone who has no background on coding or anything similar. It's important to attend the lectures or else you'll feel lost but it's not difficult to get yourself to attend because it's enjoyable
He is an ok prof. I would personally not take him again because his exams are way too hard and have like 5 multiple-choice options, all looking the same. The two assignments were pretty easy but the exams were horrible.
I loved taking stats with Guy! While he seems very uninterested/tired while teaching, I learnt so much at his lectures. Pretty straightforward content, but I did take stats in HS, so those who have not touched math in a while might find some parts a little bit tricky. I would take another course with him again :)
pretty good prof, makes sure everyone understands the material. the class had weekly quizzes, 2 assignments, and 2 exams. the course is a bit unorganized and the content doesn't connect with each other, but that's not his fault. he was unwilling to consider regrades though, with 0 guidelines or rubrics for assignments so everyone was lost.
Definitely one of the best if not the best prof I've had while studying at TMU, he was incredibly caring and understanding and did not mark hard.
I enjoyed his classes despite the fact that I found it hard, especially the lab work. With his polite attitude, I finally made it! I think we need mentors like him. He literally went from desk to desk to help each student when we needed him. I enjoyed the journey. Final verdict: professional, patient, friendly, intelligent.
Funny prof, cares about student's success, and is very accommodating. If you want to do well, just practice the math and you'll do very well. Two assignments, two exams. Five labs, Five quizzes. Straightforward. He also does not mind students taking up some time to ask him questions. This social worker is quite happy!
Super cool, not too strict with deadlines and is very accommodating and understanding. Had no problem going over content until we understood it. Consists of weekly quizzes, two assignments and a midterm exam. Only thing is his due time is 5pm which throws me off a bit since the usual is 11:59pm for other profs, other than that he's really great.
