Didn't really interact w this prof but he was decent. The functions part of the course was super easy but the actual data stuff was hard. The midterm was functions (got a 90 something) and the final was on data (failed with a 49). The Final was really hard for me. I missed a good amount of his classes but caught up fairly well. Don't need textbook

Gave multiple attempts on the quizzes, and easy marks for the discussion form. Assignment was worth 40% and it was time-consuming but not bad, as long as you include detail and follow his instructions. Midterm and final were tricky since it was applied questions and not as straight forward. Do the work on time and work hard and you should be good

Despite the pandemic Prof. Young was able to make an interesting and engaging online course. Held weekly live sessions and even had a guest kitty. Can't wait to take another class with him would recommend. Fair tests just do your readings and listen for hints in class, not sure why people struggle so hard in his class.

Multiple choice is very hard..

Ian is a horrible prof. Honestly try to avoid him if u can.. unless you have to take it. if you ever want to sleep just attend his class because its that boring lol. His exams are very detailed questions you would have to study everything word by word to do well.

Worst prof ever.. his tests are really hard its all m/c but too specific you have to know every small detail. His lectures are such a drag talks so slow..

Worst prof ever for any ENH courses. The finals are really tough.

textbook is useful to read to clarify anything (I used it a lot for calculations), not a must-read for everyone. midterm was brutal.

Don't be fooled by his slides, they are simple but he wants you to memorize EVERY SINGLE detail. If you have him, study well before memorize every single detail, I mean everything, from the pictures to the links to random facts he says in class that arent in his slides. Honestly, good luck.
