not sure why she doesn't have a higher rating. I really liked having her for ELE 202. she explains well and does so many examples. she makes sure the examples she does are similar to the exam questions, so all you'll need to study are her lectures (at least for this course.) she was nice and made time to answer questions. would take again :)
Its been many years since i took this class, I'm finally getting around to give a review tho. She's alright! From what I remember her examples in lec are the only thing u need for the exams. The exam questions are nearly identical to the ones she covers in class. I think she's a little misunderstood due to having a loudish voice
She is a great professor. I had her as my ELE 202 prof last winter semester. She is very engaging and do tons of practice problems. She is very passionate to make sure the class understand the concepts and make her own practice problems at the spot , which I think is very helpful in understanding. One of the best prof I had so far.
Avoid at all costs
if you don't attend her lectures or don't know someone who does, you won't do as well as you want to. All of her lectures cover all you need to know for the midterm/exam with her examples, as well as telling you exactly what examples are on the exam. 9 times out of 10, they're identical to examinations. She also posts past exams, which are 1:1
Good professor, but yells and raises her voices in classes if students are either too loud or won't stop talking, which makes things annoying when you are trying to learn. After the first few weeks, classes die down so she becomes a better prof and things are easier to learn. Make sure you practice the past exams as she uses similar style questions
She makes your life as easy as possible by explaining and solving the exact type of problem(s) on assements. She posts every lecture, but sometimes progreses through the material in a nonlinear way, while spending 4x the needed time on a topic. She also tends to review material from previous lectures, sometimes for way too long in my opinion.
she uploads all her lectures online. Made it so easy for us to get good grades due to that. Her lectures include everything and only focuses on topics which will come for the exam.
The only way to do bad in this class is either you don't go to/watch the lectures or you have a comprehension issue. She makes sure you will do well on the midterm and exam. If you do poorly that is most likely on you honestly. She's straight forward and to the point. Go over the lesson and do past exams and you'll do good.
i took it during summer but it was hard
